TEST PROCEDURE

* when performing a test procedure using a ready-made sample in a transport medium, simply add the required amount (3 drops or 80 μl) to the sample window on the test cartridge. Pay attention to the expiration date and storage conditions of the sample.

Sample preparation materials are standard for any laboratory and are therefore not included in our kit. You will need separately:

  • Protective gloves;

  • Protective masks;

  • Sterile swab probe for sampling;

  • Disposable micropipette or dispenser;

  • Microtube 0.5-2 ml, Eppendorf type.

STEP 1

1.gif

To collect the sample from the nasopharynx swab, insert a sterile swab into the patient's nostril, reaching the posterior surface of the nasopharynx

STEP 2

2.gif

Gently push the probe swab until resistance appears at the level of the turbinate. Rotate the tampon slowly 3-5 times along the back of the nasopharynx

STEP 3

3.gif

Gently remove the probe swab from the nostril

STEP 4

Add 300 μl (10 drops) of the supplied buffer to a 0.5 / 1.5 / 2 ml Eppendorf microtube
* If the sample has already arrived in the transport medium in Eppendorf or  the transport medium is already packaged in a volume of 300-500 μl, then skip this step.

STEP 5

Dip the swab probe with the swab into the microtube and rotate it in the buffer at least 5 times, wiping the swab probe on the inner walls of the microtube. If the swab-probe design allows breaking off the tip of the swab-probe with the sample, it is necessary to leave it in the buffer for 2 minutes while shaking it at least five times in a closed microtube

STEP 6

Add 80 µl (3 drops from a microtube) to the cartridge window “S”. Evaluate the test result in 10-15 minutes.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

IMPORTANT: The intensity of the staining of the strips in the test window, if the result is positive , may vary depending on the amount of SARS-CoV-2 antigen nucleocapsid protein in the sample. Any lightly colored line (s) in the test window opposite the indicator (T) (if there is a line in (C)) are interpreted as a positive result.

NEGATIVE

рис 1.png

ONE PAINTED LINE AGAINST INDICATION "C" INDICATES A NEGATIVE TEST RESULT.

POSITIVE

рис 2.png

TWO COLORED LINES ("C" CONTROL LINE AND "T" TEST LINE) IN THE RESULT WINDOW, INDICATE A POSITIVE TEST FOR SARS-COV-2.

ERROR

рис 3.png

IF THE COLORED LINE IN THE CONTROL WINDOW OTHERWISE THE DESIGNATION "C" DOESN'T APPEAR, THE RESULT IS WRONG. IF THE RESULT IS WRONG, REPEAT THE TEST ONCE AGAIN USING THE REMAINING SAMPLE AND A NEW TEST.
